In March, members of Marseille Differently, who have been loyal patrons of the cabaret for two years, were lucky enough to enjoy a guided tour of the theatre before the start of major renovations.
Manoah, and his companions Zoé and Lucie, shared with them the secrets of this magical gem.
Originally one of the first cinemas in France, then the Jeanne d'Arc cinema, then a parish hall, then a theatre, and soon a cabaret – it's a venue that has stood the test of time!
In groups of 10, and respecting barrier gestures, members took a behind-the-scenes tour beneath the stage, of the balcony, and the old projection room.
Everyone was amazed by the potential of the place and its uniqueness, and they shared their support and admiration for embarking on a project of such magnitude given the current circumstances.
