After three years of artist residencies, Cabaret needs a permanent venue dedicated to performing arts and at contemporary magazine.
Manoah sets out to find the perfect location in Marseille. He makes numerous visits, particularly in connection with the diocese.
During lockdown, he fell in love with an exceptional place a century-old Italian-style theatre in ruins ! Add why he liked the place. The work will be monumental, but his vision is clear.
After X months of work, the cabaret opens its doors on XXX for its first show.
Ever since its early days as a travelling troupe, Manoah has been committed to creating modern cabaret revues, whilst remaining true to the tradition of classic cabaret. This deliberate balance between heritage and contemporary creativity guides each of its productions.
Each production conceived by Manoah draws inspiration from her love of the performing arts and her city, Marseille. She blends different disciplines and styles — song, dance and performance — to offer the audience an experience that is always different and truly unique.
The aim remains the same at every performance: to offer an immersive experience, where we laugh, sing, and feel together, in a spirit of sharing true to the soul of cabaret.
At the Cabaret-Théâtre L’étoile bleue, the stage never shines on its own.
It comes to life thanks to a troupe of artists from diverse backgrounds, hailing from France, Italy, Ukraine, Ireland and beyond. Dancers, singers, circus performers, drag artists and actors… each brings a unique flair, energy and skill that give the cabaret its very special identity.
The troupe embodies our artistic vision: a cabaret where different art forms come together, are explored and blend.

The Cabaret-Théâtre L’étoile bleue, Marseille’s only professional cabaret, has been developing unique expertise since 2017, establishing itself as a leading name in the performing arts in Provence. Our productions are built on three main pillars: costume design, the performing arts, and stage direction. These skills, drawn from the worlds of cabaret, theatre, dance and the circus, enable us to present original shows of exceptional quality.
